Airborne surface disinfection process |

Initially proposed mainly to food-processing industries and supermarkets, the ARECO nebulisation technology (diffusion of liquid in the form of vapour) is also used in the pharmaceutical industry. In 2006, in the face of problems raised by the ban on formaldehyde, ARECO developed and patented its own disinfection system called Humidisafe®.
Different ranges have been developed to meet all your disinfection requirements :
- The OD-IC, a mobile unit for volumes up to 20m³
- The AR-DM, a mobile unit for volumes up to 200m³
- The AR-D, a fixed unit for volumes up to 2000m³
ARECO has revolutionized the bio-decontamination market with the AR-D, a new generation of airborne surface disinfection process (DSVA). With the AR-D, the whole aeraulics system is completed disinfected via the Air-Handling-Units (AHU). Biocide is generated in the form a very fine mist. Micro-droplets evaporate rapidly before their injection into the AHU, which gives the biocide physical characteristics close to those of gas. The vapour circulates through the ducting and passes through the most selective absolute filters (HEPA ULPA). When it arrives in contact with the surface of equipment and walls cooled down beforehand, the biocide re-condenses. In this way, disinfection is guaranteed throughout the system (ducting, terminal filters, recovery filters and AHUs included).

As an equipment manufacturer, ARECO does not impose any specific source of supply for biocide. Furthermore, Humidisafe®'s operating system guarantee's 100% degradation of the biocide in water and in oxygen. The system leaves no deposits, contrary to other decontamination products such as formaldehyde, peracetic acid or silver ions.
