Which biocide should be used for optimising disinfection ?


ARECO masters disinfection irrespective of the liquid used (hydrogen peroxide, peracetic acid, etc.).
Every client is free to choose his product and his supply.
However, ARECO recommends the use of hydrogen peroxyde (H2O2) for its degradation qualities in water and in oxygen in the environment.


Contrary to peracetic acid, silver ions or quaternary ammonium compounds, this treatment causes no remanence and is, therefore, of no danger either to environment or to man.


As it possesses no toxicity, hydrogen peroxyde limits risks for users and anticipates any future risks of product bans. Your investment is secured in this way.


What results are to be envisaged ?


Results obtained using ARECO technology are excellent on strains as resistant and varied as Parvovirus viruses and Bacillus stearothermophilus spores.


Using H2O2 at 30% :

  • Destruction > log 6 on Bacillus stearothermophilus spores
  • Destruction > log 4 on Canine parvovirus (CPV)
  • Destruction > log 6 on Rhabdoviridae (Rabies)
  • Destruction > log 4 on Leptospira (Leptospirosis)
  • Destruction > log 5 on Enterococcus hirae
  • Destruction > log 5 on Bacillus subtilis

Standard NF T72-281 of May 2009 being validated at present.


Using peracetic acid :

  • Destruction > log 5 on Bactericidal activity
  • Destruction > log 4 on Levuricidal activity
  • Destruction > log 4 on Fungicidal activity
  • Destruction > log 3 sur Sporicidal activity

To adapt our technology to your specifid requirements, we have completed our range with mobile units, for use where all the rooms covered by a single AHU cannot be treated simultaneously.
